These valves are constructed in such a way that when the handle is twisted, air stream is cut off and pressure on the drain side is automatically released, leaving the system after the valve pressure free. Due to the uni-directional mode of operation it is important to use the right version, so check the direction of flow in the pictures. Ideal for inspection or repair of components without compromising the safety. Notice that these valves always come pre-fitted with an O-ring on male BSPP thread.
